30 Dispensaries In Nevada Found Selling Contaminated Weed

1 Replies, 1868 Views

Nevada has issued a health alert for 20 different marijuana products that were sold at 30 different dispensaries across the state.

The effected products were flower and pre-rolled joints. Products that was tested failed an independent laboratory’s microbial testing for mold, yeast and bacteria, the Reno Gazette Journal reported.

The testing was done by a company called Cannex based in Las Vegas and everything initially passed testing.

Cannex was shut down in December by the Nevada Department of Taxation after the lab was found with two strains of weed containing three times more then the allowable limit of yeast and mold.

That's disgusting, I hope they have a good system of regulating these dispensaries so this can't happen frequently
